  3. Danny Boyle. Born in 1956, Daniel Boyle is one of the most recognized as well as talented film directors of today in the United Kingdom. His famous films like the Shallow Grave, Steve Jobs, Slumdog Billionaire and 127 Hours and many others have led to Danny being one of the most accomplished in the industry. He has been awarded the BAFTA Award for Best British Film for Shallow Grave. Slumdog Millionaire as well won eight Academy Awards out of nominated 10. He has to his award cabinet, also won the BAFTA Award for Best Director and the Golden Globe among others.
  4. Christopher Nolan was born in 1970. Nolan is amongst the highest grossing directors in the industry. The winner of 10 Oscars and other accolades is best known for films like Insomnia, Dunkirk, Inception and The Dark Knight Trilogy among many others.
  5. John Boorman. Born in 1933, he has since received the BAFTA Fellowship and many accolades for films like The Emerald Forest, Hell in the Pacific, Excalibur, Point Blank and others.
