Every end year, we promise ourselves to kick off the coming year on a very healthy diet, one that will flush out all the calories taken in during the December festivities as well as enable us to have a better lifestyle. The truth of the matter is that we break this promise very early in the year, or even before the first of January. To change this narrative, it is imperative we find the best diet plans we can sustain non-restrictively. The following are some of the best diets we can try in 2019.

1.    The 5:2 Diet. It is by far the best to start a new year. The menu is highly sustainable and effective. All you do while following this diet is eat anything you want for five days as long as your calorie intake is within your recommended limit. You make this plan work by limiting your calories to 600 and 500 for men and women respectively on the remaining two days.

2.    The Vegan Diet. Nowadays, this diet is sustainable in that there are many vegan products like milk, meats and cheese you would have otherwise not found in earlier years. With your doctor’s advice and consumption of essential supplements, this diet helps you attain overall better health.

3.    The Dukan Diet. Enjoy your proteins as much as you want through this plan. For the first days, you consume low-fat proteins without carbohydrates at all, and gradually eat carbohydrates as you successfully progress.
